Ensure that the parallel cable from the computer case is firmly connected along all of its path. Some games have an interconnect at the back of the game that the parallel cable goes through.
Ensure that all the pins that are in the connectors that plug into the playfield are seated fully in their holes in the connector.
Ensure all connectors going into the driver board under the playfield are fully seated properly. Reseat them if all looks OK.
If all this the above is good, you likely have a bad motherboard, the parallel interface likely crapped out.
