Hi all I am restoring all metal parts under the playfield too get them all clean now I need too know what too use as a sealer for the metal so it doesn't rust any ideas ?

If the nickel finish is still good nothing is needed after you clean, except some metal polish to make it shine.

If the nickel plate is gone, well it will rust and needs replating. However if it is only slight I have heard about and tried Minwax paste, It has worked so far and the price is right. Some people use a poly clear coat spray.

I use the lightest spray of poly.

You can also, replate them at home if you want:

Is it just a clear coat spray I use ? Or poly clear coat is it the same ?
