Picked up a Bally Knockout from a friend and it was in rough shape with missing parts, cabinet painted over, head damage, and no back glass. Figured I would document as I went to see if we can get it off the canvas and make sure it is not down for the count. Here is how I got it.....

Known missing items after inspection:

Shots to the body:
G Relay (I think this is the one in front of the score motor)
Transformer 122-95
Both rails and glass guides
Glass receiver above the arch
Flipper buttons and flipper switches
Chimes
Glass
Legs
Repainted with stars but the cabinet has the original underneath
Center kickout coil assembly
1 flipper bat and much of both flipper assemblies
Lockdown receiver and lockdown bar

Shots to the head:
Back glass
Multiple score reels missing
Paint does not match the repaint on the cab or the known Knockout art. Either they repainted or was a head of another machine perhaps? If anyone knows what it came from would be appreciated.

Jets_1479 and pinhead52 both helped me obtain parts for the missing score reels. Including the backbox contents from an Aladdin's Castle (also 2 player and similar timeframe). Gonna print off that schematic so I can do surgery at some point. Need to source the transformer and what I believe is the G Relay.

Thank you chad

Quoted from Dayhuff:

Kruzman has a NOS playfield for sale.
John

Thank you @dayhuff, I will look into that. There was also one on EBAY recently. The one I have looks decent and should cleanup

Just did a visual compare on KO VS Aladdin's Castle and certainly feature differences so surgery to fix the reels and other missing relays will be fun....

Quoted from chad:

Do you have a picture of the "G" relay? None of mine are labeled.

chad I was guessing it was G based on a Bally parts catalog photo. If I compare mine to what should be there.....

Quoted from Skidave:

What is missing is the Game Over relay / trip relay assembly.

Thanks to James on Ebay I got a major missing piece...the transformer, and the receiver/lockdown bar.

And my buddy Brian had the kickout hole mech.

Just need the G relay for the bottom board and one of the steppers is likely missing parts. But with the transformer I can at least check if I can get 6v and solenoid voltage.

Quoted from play_pinball:

Is there a G-relay on Aladdin's Castle relay board? I may be able to help if so.

play_pinball it looks like it is behind the score motor on AC..

Inspected the steppers. Bonus under the playfield, I believe ball count in the head, match looks gutted, and the bottom board had the center lane and hole steppers. Need to check the Aladdin's Castle wiring and see if match is on it.
