For the next time: You shoud have make sure than print shop you choosen prints your translite in backlite, now frontlite.
Backlite and frontlite are a special white plastic materials for be retroilluminated.
Here a photo of frontlite material. It has two faces, gloss and mate. Printings in gloss face (photo 1).
