I have always wondered how the side rails attach, as mine is loose on one side. Other than the one bolt, is it double sided tape? Is there a certain type or thickness recommended?

Quoted from Soulrider911:

@poleposition yes double sided tape, if to do remove them you will most likely want a chisel, heat gun and lots of patients if you need to remove them. Also it’s veey hard to fully remove them without damaging them, but it can be done. Most likely what is loose is that plastic guide under the metal trim?

The metal trim is loose, but it may be the plastic guide as well. Near the backbox, I can tap on the side rail and it will move in and out about 1/8" to 3/16". Now that I know its held in place with double sided tape, I can try to gentle remove it without damage. Its just the back half of one side, so I'll want to avoid any cab or rail damage hopefully.

Thanks!
