Quoted from Soulrider911:

Yup already have a new topper done and going to try and get the wrinkle out if I can

Wrinkle out? You are very brave. This is going to be a high risk/high reward try.

#47 5 years ago
Quoted from Soulrider911:

Topper light boards need some new light sockets anyone know the part number on these guys?

Look for 077-5207-00.

What an anbsolite fiasco this playfield has been. Decided to send it back to the original seller (whom is being VERY difficult) and just order a brand new one from micro

Mirco, not Micro.

Good decision. I have a new Mirco playfield, really nice.

Quoted from Soulrider911:

I noticed something where the subway mounts... this does not seem right? Just a larger rubber spacer and a MASSIVE screw that went all the way through the playfield? Is this normal?
[quoted image][quoted image]

Of course this is not normal. You need a white plastic spacer, and this machine screw (~1.8 inch).

Parts, parts, parts! thank you to pinball life and Marco, dunno what I would do without you guys .[quoted image]

What's inside?

Quoted from Soulrider911:

Ok what jerk I was finally a few pics of some parts. We have
Full pop bumper rebuild parts,
switches,
bulb sockets,
new stand up targets,
new coils wrappers,
cab protectors,
led flipper buttons,
3x flipper rebuild kits,
new B.B. clamp,
new playfield hangers,
new posts (going all light blue)
New light domes in orange
and a bunch o other stuffs
[quoted image][quoted image]

Are you 100% sure about that protector? It helps to protect the leg, but not the cabinet. I have seen many damaged decal due to this method.

Quoted from Soulrider911:

Actually davi I would agree with you on that one, when it’s brand new decals, yes they can and will cause rincles. However my new cabinet has metal cab protectors, and then these are used on top (more for aesthetics) so they will. Or even be touching the cabinet art . I did it on my fishtales works like a charm
[quoted image]

Plastic alone can damage the decal. Standard metal protector alone is too thin, the leg can damage the decal, at the height around bottom screw.
My final method is a thicker metal protector. It is able to protect the decal. Left: modified, right: available at pinball shops

Reproducing the shooter lane decal

Nice work. I am going to repaint the apron and shooter lane metal to blue, than print the graphics directly onto the apron.

Do you still have your upper playfield?
Az the end of long wire ramp, usually there is a heavy damage, every ball is landed after ball launch. Makes sense to add a piece of mylar.

Quoted from mbaumle:

An even better solution is to just place a cliffy protector there. It’s essentially a metal plate that’ll keep the ball from wearing divots in, and creating a ball hangup.

That area is not protected by Cliffy's WH2O set.
Cliff mentioned a possible redesign of VUK protector (extended version); I will contact him again.

Quoted from Crash:

But Davi's illustration is not where the ball lands, am I missing something?

We have 2 area: one is VUK, the other is after launch wire ramp.
Cliffy protector helps about VUK.

You're probably going to want to get these. Those green targets take a real beating.

Got my new boulders today! They look great and man are they made well nice and thick. They are definitely less flimsy than the stock ones. Now just need to get the new signs riveted on
[quoted image]

Wow... Do you have a good source?
The plan by Starship Fantasy is very simple: 3 months from now. This is the default answer.
