For the braid, that is ground, not power. You can use a long nosed stapler (need air compressor of some sort) to attach new braid. Just solder a connection between the new strip and existing braid. I have a new one of these staplers I can sell you, with staples, for less than anywhere else. Ended up with two of them and don't need that many, lol. PM me if interested.

For stripped holes, first insert a toothpick into the hole, then install the screw. The toothpick will allow the screw to bite.
