Also interested now. I played through the demo quite a few times, but haven't sprung for VR yet. I couldnt see upgrading to the ps4 Pro and purchasing the headset just for this though...

While not made for VR, they DID do an upgraded version of RE1 that came out for PS4 a year or two ago. It included some new areas and puzzles that didn't make it into the old PS1 game. I played through it with both Jill and Chris and it was a blast.

I'm curious about this too. I am reluctant to buy a whole new ps4 (Pro) system, but I am interested in the VR. It seems like opinions are pretty mixed on whether it's worth the upgrade.
I am holding off on the VR for now, but I did just pick up RE7 anyway. I have been a fan of the series for since ps1 and this seems to be a return to the survival horror of the old games. The scares are great! It definitely feels like they picked up the ball from where Konami dropped it with the PT/Silent Hill debacle.
