New to owning a machine. A ghostbusters premium. Person who i bought it from had no tilt, 5 ball game plus extra balls every 100 million. Tried to reset the 26 billion scores by instructions in the manual. Still there. Took out the battery and unplugged it. Still there. How can i wipe them off? Even set it to a 100 game reset. Still...there.

Yeah. It would be nice to figure this out. Not sure why it's not resetting the scores. Anyone have any ideas?

When you reset the high scores, it reverts to the default high scores. These are set up under the SPI adjustments for high scores #1 through #4. You can go in and raise lower these default scores, but the 3 letter initials associated with each can't be changed. I don't think you can set them to 0.

The machine will not let us reset the 20+ billion score for some reason. So we are downloading the newest code even though it's already on the machine. Fingers crossed...
