Quoted from PinballManiac40:

That is not how Pinwiki shows how to do it. In the case of removing C9, I don't think you can get around not cutting that trace at C9. Also the Metal case has to be isolated as well with the other trace that needs to be cut.

Quoted from arolden:

I know it's a different method but the result is the same. This method makes the mod easily reversible.

arolden is correct... and the reversible method that doesn't require cutting traces on a board has been published for nearly 4 years now, but still no update to Pinwiki so some folks are still cutting traces... not really a wiki. Reference here to see when I first shared it: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/tech—why-is-my-tz-is-no-longer-resetting-despite-5v-rail-at-only-48-v/page/2#post-1512050 .

Quoted from arolden:

I'm at a bit of a loss here. From my research I can't figure out what J115 has to do with game resets. It's a completely separate circuit from a separate set of transformer windings.

My Party Zone acted the exact same way - would reset with J115 plugged in but would not if J115 was disconnected.
