Found a great project pin in a barn today. I was totally shocked when I got a text accepting my low ball offer. Looks like I have my work cut out for me.

I love finding pins like this and bringing them back to life. I just got a Highspeed Getaway II yesterday that needs some love. Can't wait to get started.

A DMD pin for 400 would have been awesome, but I don't feel too bad at $500.

nice find

Super shape for a barn find must have been a nice barn. Hope no critters chewed up anything. That is a fun game from what i remember.

Congrats! This game seems appropriately titled. Not sure if "Rescue 911" is needed...maybe, some slight resuscitation, but it seems like it will clean up nice.

As the flyer says the show was seen by more than 30m viewers weekly. And the machine was UL listed. Nice pickup - boards alone are worth close to what you paid. Couldn't go wrong for the price.

Holy hell, that's awesome! Was it literally a fuse away from booting?

Playfield looks nice. How are the inlanes? Love to see a pic.

#19 4 years ago

Inlanes will need some work. The copter blade isn't spinning. All the rubbers are broken. This was just a quick wipe to get surface grime. Looks pretty good, some wear to be addressed. More to come.

Definitely worth the $500 price tag, love to see more pics when you get it cleaned up and new rubber added.

A fuse?! Nice. I've lucked out with just a disengaged interlock switch before (on an arcade machine).

All the wires on the helicopter were "broken at the bend" and had to be redone. The helicopter also would not go all the way back and forth due to a missing screw in the collar. I installed a new friction wheel and it should be good for a long time. It is a pretty simple mechanism when you get into it, but it was very daunting.
