I just got a Rescue 911 from Italy and there is a wierd empty gap at the front of the playfield where you can see the edge of the board under the glass. The pics I see online don't show it like that but I don't see anything obviously amiss - I don't think the cabinet is too long. The edge of the playfield is pretty far under the top but it all seems ok.

Can any owners help me out?

That's not right... looks like the playfield is pushed too far back... Mine pivots on a mechanism... looks like that is just jammed in too far... I will get some pics of mine for you...

Your playfield is off the pivots. It needs to be slid forward and then placed back on the pivots.
