Ah yes, the helicopter.

I know there are some tips out there like making sure the wires aren't broken, replacing the friction plate and rubber bushing at the end. Is there anything else out there?

In my case, even with a new friction plate and bushing wheel on the end, it can still be inconsistent at times and won't want to always be lined up to pick up the ball. It's like the rubber of the new wheel is too slippery.

If you have any tips, please feel free to share. Thanks!

After everything else was fixed properly, I ended up putting a 1/2" grommet under the left side of the friction plate. After that, the helicopter worked perfectly every time.
