Local used car dealer is going out of business and selling his collection of everything and anything. I went in with a buddy to look around and this pin was sitting there. He has this week left to clear out the building. He said it worked but yesterday when they turned it on it was dead.
Long story short, since it didn't power up I had no way of verifying anything so I made him an offer that I felt like I wouldn't get hurt on if it needed a lot of repairs.
Turns out, sometimes it is a fuse...
Playfield is worn, a couple optos out, helicopter not working, topper light not spinning. I'm sure I'll find other stuff, but for 1k I'm not complaining!
Yes, it is in pieces. Lol. I found chunks on the bottom of the cabinet. I need to get a manual. My experience with Gottlieb is limited.
Mine is the same. I haven't played a ton but I think it is in a mode when it does that. If you have a ball locked it releases it also for multiball. Flippers don't release the heli ball for multiball.
Unless my game is messed up too I think it's normal.
