    I doubt it, but I’m not surprised to see games sit longer - for the reasons you described. There’s just so much coming out.

    The new games have lots of bells and whistles, but are not always as fun as the old games. JJP POTC is a huge exception - shoots super smooth, really fun, deep code, and while it could use some polish, is very complete already. I like how Elvira looks too, but the reviews are kind of in the middle

    That said, the old stalwarts are still as good as they ever were. Metallica is a great fun game, which is why it keeps its value.
