Would be nice if pinside had a Dark Mode or a Lights Out instead of just the bright white background.

Use night shift if your on a iPhone.
Quoted from Travish:Use night shift if your on a iPhone.
I already do lol. I was so happy they implemented that. All it does is shift the colors to reduce blue-light that doesn’t change the white colors of Pinside. A theme of dark colors that aren’t just simply black would be best.

iPhone users try the following:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > Invert Colours > Smart Invert ON.
You can use classic invert but I find Smart is a little more friendly on the eyes.
You can also, in the accessibility shortcuts, enable triple-click on the side button to enable inverted colors.

That just blew my mind... thanks!!!
I’m surprised people didn’t know about the accessibility features on iPhone? It’s most commonly used to circumvent a broken home button/lock button! LOL. I’d prefer to have a neat little setting still on Pinside for a darker theme, even in daytime use. Inverted colors look horrible. I’m sure someone out there probably already has some designs for a custom darker Pinside
Not everyone uses iPhones for viewing Pinside, there are plenty of desktop browser users who would love the option of a dark viewing mode to help ease the glare......

The iPhone thing I posted above is do able from all Apple devices. I’d be surprised if there isn’t an equivalent setting on Android, unfortunately I don’t have any Android products to post the how to.
Quoted from FatPanda:There is a blue light filter setting for Android, but it's not the same as a dark mode.
There’s gotto be a invert option on Android, generally if Apple has a setting or feature then Android has usually had it first and for a year or two and that’s coming from an Apple user.
In Android Pie go to Settings > Display > Advanced > Device Theme > Dark
Unfortunately, it only works for the app drawer and not for anything else.

Let me rephrase again:
Not everyone uses smartphones for viewing Pinside, there are plenty of DESKTOP BROWSER users who would love the option of a dark viewing mode to help ease the glare......

Apologies AUK, I often forgot about desktops as I only use one at work these days, everything at home is smartphone and tablet based.
By the way I think a dark mode would be an awesome feature for Pinside, was just trying to help those out with a temporary/quick and convenient solution.
For desktops running Google Chrome

Found one and this looks promising: This extension for Chrome offers a dark mode and does not invert pics:
