I tend to agree. My first time on pinside was because I needed some immediate help with a flipper issue. I was in over my head. I got great advice and got it quickly. I would have been sorely disappointed if I had to wait.
The spammers don't bother me that much. They are easy to ignore.

You know, it's funny: I'll pay $3 for a cup of coffee but not buy a 99 cent app. I think if there was even a small donation required to join, I would never have joined this site. But now that I have joined and see the immense value in it, I have donated on my own.
