I personally found that a paragon backglass would not fit in an Embryon head since it was a thicker glass. From the bottom lift channel, and along the sides where the 1x block is located.

OP will probably need to dremmel out the channel and either move the blocks back or shave those back. It takes a little effort but that was the only way I could come up with to allow the thicker glass to fit.
