For all you guys not being able to go to the party I will report from there. Show starts saturday but being organizer enables me to give you guys some sneak previews on Friday already
So stay tuned. It is going to be fun 
Just hoping the games make it ! Meeting a timeline they set just a couple weeks ago (publicly) would go a long way to getting some excitement going again after expo was pretty deflating.
Tip for DP: if additional hiccups have happened in the last two weeks, send us a NSNL *before* the show starts

It's early morning there now, DPO officially starts today, so it could be a while before reports start filtering through. Maybe tonight after Day 1, in 12 hours or so.

Those were prototypes, the same machines that they had at Chicago Expo in 2014 (with some minor software changes). The ones at DPO this year are engineering samples, greatly refined inside and with more advanced software, so we should see some big improvements. Exciting times
Sorry to say you didn't hear original CCR music yesterday. Inside the machine is now instrumental viver version which sounds exact like the original to what I heard. Only no voice, just instruments.
Must admit it was not bad at all and much better as I expected. My brain added the voice by itself
Yesterday to many things to do building up a show but expect to have more time today so stay tuned

This is really disappointing - I understand the delays in the manufacturing process, but I'm baffled why a game that was meant to ship in Q2 is still running alpha code. If the five pre-production models hold up well this weekend and they soon begin to manufacture games, can we expect them to ship with this alpha code too?

Launch button is changed because the other one broke
Light pipes are in ES and work great (can testify to that)
Spinner design changed
Roof upper playfields changed
Flow improvement left ramp diverted
Painted Brunswick return
White Russian under 6.5 degrees to have it horizontal in the pin
Clear starburst characters
Bowling Windows will change to avoid the scratches as seen on ES version
Better display twice resolution
Lightning back box will change to 1 led strip with a light guider plate

Can you expand on this? Do you mean the CGI Jesus they showed just shining his ball is cut, or do you mean no Jesus movie clips as well.. If the latter, I will need a drink..

So his introduction sequence is out.. Which, does suck, still. Wondering if this is because after the rules of music licensing was clear they said fuck it and not doing any sort of licensing with music and universal? Cause by their previous statements, playing the music in its original context was the one thing that was allowed? So?
Would it follow then that no scenes with anything all that could be considered licenced music are out? That's the taxi scene (more eagles), the intro (tumbling tumbleweed), etc.. So confusing what made the Jesus intro diff from the rest.
Licensing sucks. Hopefully they can work magic around it.
I would be expect their game #3 to be unlicensed after all this.

Thanks for the vids, Rensh! Looking great and the music sounds awesome. Instrumentals of the real songs was absolutely the right move - the compositions sound great (even in the crowded room) and evoke happy feelings of the movie. "The Stranger" voice is a perfect narrator for the game, and the game is much better without the female voice over.
Dutch is killing it into the home stretch!
