Ren, looking forward to updates. And I might add you have the coolest last name on earth. If I ever become a spy or porn star I'm stealing it. ; ). Have a blast at DP !

Yeah I've been watching the YouTube of the Jesus scene and that kissy face is definitely while hotel California is still in the foreground.. They must of figured something out
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTT! Hope to see much more and some video, I can't wait for this bad boy to ship!
So that 'DMD' is an LCD... is it a custom size-ratio or is there a standard 16x9 monitor that's just 'cropped' by the panel?

Custom

Did I miss the link for this?
Quoted from jazzmaster:Did I miss the link for this?
No...I think Tom was talking about the stock video from the movie...not the actual game video....
Quoted from Rensh:No clips? News there is
Awesome confirmation. Really looks nice.
Yeah I found the still frame matching the above picture on you tube. That is during the Jesus intro / before any dialog and with hotel California playing in foreground.
This is the area of the film Jaap specifically mentioned as off limits back at DPO (per mine and I think everyone else's understanding right?) Issue cited was they weren't allowed to strip the music score from the video. This was a big concern for me cause there's licensed music just about everywhere in this film (making the presumption that this was a general rule vs something specific about this scene).
So, if this frame is there now, looks like something changed for the better!

I'd like to hear about this. I know they changed the LCD panel they were using to a slightly smaller panel. Are they still using an ultrawide lcd panel? If I recall they were using screen res 192x96 but that may have changed with the new panel.
That's very impressive looking, I like the way the mechanics/electronics look under the playfield. The bowling alley in the cabinet is huge! Thought it was just hanging under there, I was so wrong with that assumption.
Keep it up DP!

Looks like a cool little operation. "Little" is not meant to be insulting, but relative to other mfg's in the hobby. Bigger than Spooky, smaller than Stern and JJP. But projected production rates are in line with what the space looks like it can handle. I love the behind the scenes side of things as far as design/mfg, so thanks for sharing.
NSL check your inboxes, Roger Sharpe is the Freakin Man!!!
"Roger did what he does best and he managed to get approval for nearly all of the epic clips from the movie we (and you of course) love and wanted in the game. So yes, they're all going to be in the game: Jesus dancing, Walters "Mark it Zero", Marties Cycle, Bunnies "blow me", Brandt, Maude, Donny, The Big Lebowski, Smokey, all of zee Nihilists, The Stranger, etc, etc, etc.
In total the game will feature 200+ clips!
We would like thank Roger for his involvement in making this happen."
Quoted from Concretehardt:We would like thank Roger for his involvement in making this happen.
We all do! Because a TBL pin without the "Mark it Zero" clip... Mark it zero!
Happy for all of you Dudes.
Glad to see it all coming together. Great work DP, and thanks Rensh for keeping all of us who couldn't make the trip updated!

I think they're just using a very small corner of the facility for assembly ... I'd guess it would be possible for them to do a lot more than 10 per week (their initial ramping target) if there's the demand.
Edit: just watched the second video. ARA said target is 4 machines per day. That's 1000 a year basically. Quite impressive for such a small area.
