Quoted from snyper2099:
If you are 50th (or less) on the list the MORNING OF JULY 26th, I'd say you have an EXCELLENT chance of getting in but only if:
You are standing there and hear them when they make the announcement around 9:30AM at the tournament
You are on the waitlist/alternates list
You are ready with a credit/debit card to pay for the Pinburgh entry AND it is not declined.
Those three things MUST happen. Last year people as low as 100th down on the wait list did get to play. This year, could be lower or higher but I'm guessing the cutoff will be between 50th and 100th. No way of knowing for certain. Weather and traffic could also be a factor people haven't considered.
Last year 4 people made it in day of. The lowest on the list was somewhere around 80th. But only 4 people. So your odds are not excellent. It is not like 50 people got last minute spots.
