I was gonna ask the same question. It WAS an IFPA Event, correct?

    Yep

I considered playing it but realized I didn't get into pinball because I enjoy exercise!

    #807 2 years ago

No balance in my E-wallet account either. I thought once I jumped through all the hoops there would be something there.

The rules don't say anything about posting links to other sites, but to be safe I'll post this.

"PAPA_Doug3d ~ It was. It has not been submitted yet." when asked "was the Intergalactic Pinball tourney for IFPA points this year? " by Richthofen3d

Google it, you'll find it, but that was 3 day ago. I was only able to get one game in, so happy to donate the $10, but watching the finals was more important to me.

The one I lost some cash on was at the casino. (First craps table I have lost at) The fake money one was at the VIP Party.

    Awesome pictures!

    #815 2 years ago

well, we have 5 days for intergalactic to get posted to meet the 30 day time frame requirement from the IFPA for submitting results.

it's 60 days. it takes a long time to parse through all those jokers who only played a game or two and then left.

Sounds about right. It was longer than 30 days for last year's White Rose Game Room Show IFPA Main Tournament to be posted.

I ended up winning about $700 off the locals at the poker table from 1-4am Saturday, so that was nice.

hmm, I once tried to help a local tournament submit results they were having trouble with and we got 1 to go thru but they 2nd was denied because it was over 30 days since it had happened. Maybe I am remembering the situation wrong, couldn't find the emails anymore, must have deleted that correspondence.

either way, yes, it is a lot of data to go thru but on the other hand 30 days is a lot of time to go thru it. I think being billed as the 2nd largest tournament it would be a higher priority to get it submitted. oh well. wppritis will continue

    #822 2 years ago

yeah, it is pretty bad to have any tournament not reported within 30 days.

    Just some feedback for them.

Does anyone know the timeframe for when money will be added to our e-wallet account?

Per the rules, they still have about 30 more days to not pay, and it would seem to me they will use it all.
This is the biggest drag about this tournament. You pay 6 months in advance, then have to wait 2 months to get winnings.
Not sure why being a non-profit now makes this the way things are, but that is the reasoning they give when asked.

    #826 2 years ago
    Quoted from DNO:

You pay 6 months in advance, then have to wait 2 months to get winnings.

Instead of borrowing my own money for the remaining four months, maybe I can save the transfer fee and just roll it into next year's entry.

    #827 2 years ago

So, around 30 days from now. That's better than not knowing anything I guess.

    #828 2 years ago

Well, for those of us that didn't cash and have no chance of ever cashing, I'm more interested in when they will release the 2018 bank configurations so I can start preparing.

Being a non-profit doesn't help, we just can't hand out envelopes with money in them anymore as we are accountable for it all. There are also a lot more than just the Pinburgh payouts to handle at Replay. The 60 days for payment has been in place for the last 3 years and is actually written into the Pinburgh event data so there shouldn't be any surprises there.

Also, none of us do this stuff as a full time job. So after Replay we are back to our regular jobs and Replay stuff has to be done during our free time from all of our real world responsabilities.

Pinburgh data was submitted very quickly this year, Intergalactic is taking a little bit longer. The IFPA tie breaking logic is giving me fits right now. It is slightly more difficult to submit the results for the 2nd largest tournament in the world than it is for a local weekly.

Thanks for the reality check. Being someone who rarely wins, I did not check the event data.

Can't thank you and the Pinburgh team enough for what you do. I will try a little at PPO!

Maybe a reminder of the 60 day thing somewhere else (like on the signup doc or webpage) will help people from wondering whats is going on.

    see ya soon.

I'm not surprised at all, and fully aware it is presented that way in the rules. Hence my post started with "per the rules"
I have submitted W-2 and waited for a check in the past, but got excited when I saw the E-wallet account setup, entered all my personal info, and now still wait...
It's just different from any other tournament, and one of the ONLY negative aspects of Pinburgh/PAPA to me.

I've been in this Hell before! I have had a player finishing list that wouldn't work (plyer position is higher, lower, bla bla)
I started over, but copy/pasted the EXACT same list, and had it work.
I think the problem is if you forget the delimiter (comma) then go back and add it, if F's the list up.
I go through, and after entering a bunch of names, run the process? button, and see if it works.
If it is, then copy that much of the list, and keep adding names.

I'm not upset at your post if that's how it came across, just trying to provide some additional clarification.

I'm on copy/paste #4,699 with the IGPC results. I actually just threw an email to Josh asking him to make it work.

I have to admit to be a little curious about those results as well. I need something to offset my terrible intergalactic results, but then I knew I shouldn't have tried to play in that when I had no shot at getting all my tries in, plus I was a little burnt out at that point.

How do I get an error with points corrected? I came in 92nd in the IGPC, but they put my points under a new profile: Player #55765. My actual player # is 10921. There's no "FAQ" or "Contact" section on the website. Should I just email the above info to ifpapinball@gmail.com? Thanks in advance.

Generally, yes. Then Adam or Josh will correct it.

I set up an eWallet account and can log in to it just fine.

I also attempted to fill out the paperwork here: http://replayfx.org/prize/

However, the site says "You are not allowed to sign this agreement." No idea if I did something wrong. I read the entire site and fully understand the delay. I just want confirmation that they have what they need from me.
