Quoted from beelzeboob:Great show, but it is worth noting that the majority of pins are off limits to anyone not in the tournament for the first two days (if I remember correctly).
Yep, Thursday and Friday the pinburgh section was dedicated to the tournament - but all day Saturday and Sunday that section was mostly open for general use -- just the finals banks were still off limits. And almost all the games stay through close of show Sunday since they're PAPA's games.
The only thing I'd suggest for this year is better signage indicating that those pins in the pinburgh section would be available for all to play after the rounds end Friday -- and then a more obvious "opening" of that section. I'm sure the drape walls would have had to be moved by union workers and that's why they stayed, but with just the 2 small openings (one in the back corner, one by the tourney desk) it wasn't really obvious that the section was available for all on those last 2 days.
