Switching 500 games to free play and back again is a lot of work in itself.
There are some really great people helping to make this process much more efficient now.
The problem childs were mostly Gottlieb's maybe some Bally's and Zaccaria's. Hope is in the future by means of super secret interfaces for some of them.

I made the assumption that the pins were set to free play. Is that not the case? I know not all of them would be but I assumed the vast majority of them would be free to play....

the ones where it is possible to they are. All games are free to play but some ran out of credits and needed an attendant to add more.
