    I tried the Eastwood zinc kit. Unless the metal is perfectly smooth, the very thin coat of zinc will not really achieve the look of New metal. It is a kids toy at best, now collecting dust in my garage. Don't waste your money on this cheap imported junk if you want it to look good. There is no substitute for real commercial plating.
