    Quoted from HisboyElroy:

    Happy Holidays all!
I have a couple questions about installing a new Rottendog MPU in a Taxi.
The pre-install instructions say, "Install either a 6802 or a 6808 uP into sockets U_3D and U24". Is a Marcospec "MC6802P" from the link below what I should order for both?:
    http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/6802
Also, on both the game ROMS and the 6802 chips there should be a small indent on the chips that align with an indent on the chip socket (to prevent installing it backward) correct?
Are there any other gotchas or is this a pretty simple swap?

There should be a small "D"shaped notch, a printed stripe, or a dot (indentation or printed) to indicate which side is pin 1 on the ICs. Pretty simple if you use the correct tools and precautions. Never force anything and recommend a wrist strap or at least grounding yourself when doing the swap. Especially now in this season where static electricity build up tends to be high. The Marco MC6802P is fine.
