I wanted to replace the corner brackets in my Stern LZ. The originals have only 3 threads. The replacements have about 7. The replacement bracket holes did not line up with the factory holes. The best solution I found is to use Williams style corner brackets. They also have about seven threads and are massive. I used these brackets to replace any of the original low thread brackets in any of my pins.
The original Stern is on the left, the replacement Stern type in the center and the Williams type is on the right.
