Now why would you possibly want to do that?

    Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:

Because he can? Doesn't seem advantageous. You would need to mount the motor, a gear to interface with the score reel, and a way to control the number of revolutions.
Maybe building a Rube Goldberg retheme?

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. It always seems that guys who want to mess up EM games like this are usually mainly SS/DMD owners.

In any case, I don't see any reason why you would do something like this. It won't work any better than the current setup.

    How's the clock coming along?

I don't want to sound critical about it because when the KoD remake came out I really wanted it to be a big hit because I'm an EM guy first and foremost. Obviously it was a great idea that just didn't take hold. At least to me, it was because while it looked like an EM, it didn't play like one. With EMs you expect to hear the steppers and the relays etc and it just wasn't there. I appreciated the tech work that went into the game but I just didnt enjoy the game play.

Putting these into a real EM to me is kind of like dropping a V8 into a Model T. You can, but it just isn't right. But as you said, your game.
