I have a whirlwind and need to replace a flipper coil in it and noticed that the 2 lower flipper coils had been replaced with different than what the manual had. The manual calls for FL11630 (red) but the machine currently has what seem to be FL11629 (blue). I am tempted to put back in what the manual says. Is there any problem with this? How much power difference is there?

The FL11629 are more powerful. If you like the flipper strength than just replace them with the same coils. A lot of people do it , it should give you any problems.
