I have two system 11 games that I need to go back through and replace the caps on the sound cards on. My question is, do I need to go and replace each and every capacitor on the board, or only certain ones?

    Thanks.

Most problems are on the P/S causing noise on the sound board. Noise in, amplified noise out.

The electrolytics, marked with + or - on the cap and the board. They must be installed with + or - pointing the right way.

NOTE: some are marked ->->-> pointing to negative lead, and some are marked +>+>+> pointing to positive lead. Pay close attention and get the right lead in the right spot or you might end up with a bunch of confetti in your backbox.
