Hey folks,
First thread (and post) here, so let me know if I should ask somewhere else or whatever.
Anyway, I bought a High Speed not so long ago and it has a Pinscore which does the job nicely. However, I've seen photos of old High Speeds with their original displays and from what I can tell, not only are the characters a little bit smaller (IMO the Pinscore lettering is a little too big to look factory with a HS backglass) I like the look of it much more.
So what do I need to do to get that sort of look back in my game? As it's a complete Pinscore build it contains the Pinscore MPU (I think that's the MPU? The thing that attaches to the back of the backbox door) so I assume I'd need to buy/find an original one of those along with these.
Secondary question: Did HS come with 4x alpha-numeric displays, or is it only the top two? This machine came with 4x a-n displays, but photos on IPDB look like they come with only two, with the bottom two (not counting the credit/match) being numeric.
Optional third question: If I go through with this, how much could I sell the Pinscore setup for? I'm in Australia, so I don't know if that would make a difference.
TIA guys. Hopefully the first of many contributions to this rad-as-hell community
