Those are low power switches, as they run through the "switch matrix". They're not the direct switches.

You don't need to replace the switch, unless something is very wrong with it. Just clean up the contacts.

You'll need to replace the spoons. The holes on the new spoons will need to be enlarged to fit the switch stack. I use a step bit in the drill press, and slowly press the spoon base into the bit.

Those aren’t wood screws. If you look at the tip of the screw, you’ll see that it’s flat, not pointed.

These screws go into tinman nuts on the underside, that you can’t see.

The screws shown are most likely factory.
