What's the latest? Been waiting for years! Still willing to BETA test these if needed....

While I think its great that more horse shoe contacts are available, that's not what this thread is all about.

I'm looking for a replacement of this design. Something more reliable and maybe uses leaf switches (like System 7's) or that uses micro switches.

If I was in a pinch and / or something broke on my existing drop targets then I would be happy to purchase these newly made horseshoe contacts. But ultimately, I want something better - and that's what was proposed with this thread originally more than 2 years ago.

It's now been almost 3 weeks since we were "checking in" with Steve and only crickets to report.

What gives? If this project isn't going to happen, I feel like it's not asking too much to admit it and put this entire concept to rest so that I can move on and begin to find an alternative to the current setup.

Yeah, unfortunately I already have some replacement horse shoe switch contacts. I'm hoping for a modern replacement for this design using more reliable components....
