I often hit 2 targets at once...did you test this scenario?

#152 5 years ago

I moved the board over slightly and tested it again. It seems to work fine now. I then played a few games and it worked great in game play.

Yes in game play I hit 2 targets at once and it was fine.

Now I just need to build the upper target.

The really neat thing about this system is there is nothing to ware out - dirt isn't a problem - and no horseshoes to adjust.

Hehehe, another thing, Bob...... I had always figured the reed switches would be on the other side from the actual targets. If you can, shoot me over a photo of where you've moved the switches to, I know from your messages that you had to relocate them a bit all around.

For some reason I can't send photos on this private message system. I've taken dozens of photos that you need to see. Send me your regular e-mail address - I'll send them.

I do have a re-drawn board layout ready to go now, taking into account the recommendations.
Will get it ordered with my next run of PCB's. Things have been crazy with some of the other new prototypes I've been dabbling with.

Great news Hans. Can't wait to see the revised layout.

My Blackout targets are still working great. No problems.

I'm working on a Flash now. Will need new targets for it soon. When will these hit the market?

Question for those familiar...if I were to use one of these boards in a Firepower drop target conversion, will I only have to add and run the 2 drop reset coil wires, and then I can just use the existing switch wiring? Or will I have to also run continuous switch wires too? Thanks!

Interested in a set for my Blackout project if they are still available, favoriting the thread in hopes of an update !

Any updates on this product?

Thx.

I completely flippin forgot to order the damn boards when I placed my last order. This summer has been crazy to the 3rd degree here, hoping to start getting moving on a few projects soon.

Any momentum with this project?
Its about time to rebuild a few banks but I would wait on this newer design if its still in the works.

Thx.

My flash could also use this upgrade if it becomes available. I'm just saying...

They aren't that difficult to make your own. See post 103 above and here:

I have them in three games and they all still work great. Try it.

HHaase I just rebuilt my drop targets with new horseshoes and new backing PCBs. Still dragging! Would love to have this as a replacement option for how much time I'm spending fiddling with getting these damn things trying to get "Goldilocks" to like it.

Mine are still working great - never needs adjusting or cleaning.
