Recently ordered a replacement coil for A-15943 for an Indiana Jones Pinball Machine. The replacement coil according to several sites is a FL-11753. My question is that new coil the FL-11753 has 2 diodes across the terminals where as the original coil the A-15943 does not have those diodes. I don't want to cause any permanent damage to the machine before connecting it or fry something I'm not supposed to.
Do I just install this new coil with the 2 diodes attached or do I need to remove those diodes before installing this coil? It's for the UP/DOWN post for the mini-playfield.....original part A-15943 which is apparently NO LONGER MADE.....replaced by the FL-11753.
Any help is appreciated.....
