Noob question: are there standard bulbs that I should have for replacement? I have a few out in my LW3 and would like to have some standard sizes on hand for future replacement.

standard:
555 or
44

flashers:
906 or
89

I would suggest in lieu of the 44's, use 47's. Less heat, current draw. Slightly less for a few, but it can add up if you replace all the 44's.

It's a good suggestion, however unless you are putting it out route, or leaving it one for 10 hours a day, 44s will look better and you shouldn't have to worry about the issues with heat for the short durations you have during normal home use.

I don't like 47s, as they don't give out enough light. Then again, I don't like 44s incand either, and use leds.

What is this "incandescent" you speak of?

Thanks guys for the help. I'll probably experiment with LED's eventually but as cheap as the standard bulbs are I'd like to have the most widely used ones on hand.

Cointaker regular 89 degree leds are good and cost .69 cents each.
My Sorcerer has those kind of Leds and they worked out really good.

The 90 degree regular and the frosteds are all 69 cents at cointaker.

The 89 flashers are $2.79.

That other comment was sarcasm.

Don't drink the led kook aid. Buy a bunch of 44s, 555s, 89s, 906s and be done with it. Buy from pinball life because they have the best prices.

Pick up some 259s for the pop bumpers, they are anti vibration bulbs. Pinbits sells those. http://www.pinbits.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30&products_id=200
