Hopefully missing something dumb/simple.
Left ramp opto was not working on Cue Ball Wizard.
Cleaning it didn’t help.
It’s a PAIN IN THE ASS to access, so figured if I had to pull it apart, might as well put in new transmitter and receiver boards.
Installed new opto- shows error in test.
Checked solders, aiming, etc, re-did everything - still not working.

Replacement parts new?
Tested for presence of infrared beam at reciever?
There’s no other led on the opto board other than the transmitter led. Or are you referring to the opto controller board?
