I would like my EB and Special lights in my TFLE to look more traditional. I tried putting in an amber 555 where the red LED (wedge) is....and it didn't light. Can LEDs be replaced by incandescents? Is something wrong here?

Nelson,

If the game was designed for LED's there may not be enough voltage to drive the incandescent bulb.

Do you have a multimeter? If so see if you are getting 5V+ to the socket. If not it likely wont light.

I think the LED's only need 1.5v

One other thing..

These are pretty close to incandescent without needing SPF60 to play the game..
