Just expose the wire about 2” back from where the first connector will be. Slide on a piece of shrink wrap, then take a new piece of wire about 3.5” long... and tap it into the spot you exposed. Seal with the shrink wrap... and now you have a y shaped cable you can crimp new connectors onto the ends... replacing your loop through.

This is not the greatest example visually... I was trying to re-use the color coded wire I had, so my Y tails are kind of short.

But it was one bitch of a connector that had so many loops on a single connector! damn DE designs...
