repairing the T-Molding that's separating from the top corner of my Dr. Dude. got these clamps, which i think will do the job. what's the best glue to use?
Thats the ribbed piece that goes in the opening T just carefully use a rubber hammer

thank you all for the replies. i think the slot may be slightly worn. but the real issue is it's separating at the corner of the top, so it doesn't want to stay in place. so glue might be my only option.
Glue is easiest. Dont need much and only at the end.
Alternate idea ...
Get it back in place properly, then clamp it but leave enough room to run a 1/16 drill bit near exposed end.
Then tap a finish nail in and that might hold as well . This is reversible as well, whereas the glue might not be as easy - if that matters to you
