I have a stripped hole for where the shooter coil mounts to the playfield. I've tried several times to repair this by gluing bamboo skewers into the hole, but it eventually becomes loose again. Any suggestions?

Maybe somebody installed the wrong screws over the years.

You can mix some 2part epoxy and drip it into the hole on the overturned playfield

Do a better job. Bamboo skewer and wood glue is stronger than the original wood.

If the bamboo skewer is loose in the hole, you need to pound in a bigger piece of wood.

Drill and t-nut it for a more permanent repair.

    That's what she said .
