My experience is that I enjoy talking to customers who want to learn. Sometimes the problem is basic or readily apparent, like leaking batteries or a simple wire break.
Other times (more often than I would like) it is a problem I have never run into before. The clock is ticking and that's when I like to get into Zen mode.
Logical troubleshooting, referring to schematics, (in this case Shadow general and the overall WPC-S manual), menus, trial and error, careful visual observation, etc. etc. This is when I need full concentration and no interruptions.
Just out of curiosity, what specifically is your Shadow problem?
