On my Freddy, by the flippers there is some excessive wear (no art is left) I am definitely going to Repaint this section. What is your opinion as far as protecting it when I am done. I plan to use createx, and heat to set it. Will it stay once heated? Maybe just a light area of spray clear to make it stay?
What is the best approach, this would be my first attempt at some real rehab.
Depending how flat you can get it after touching up, maybe mylar if it is perfectly flat?
If it needs flattening out, then Llloyd's suggestion followed by sanding flat might save some heartache.
can you put up a pic? generial wear, or flipper drag? anyways its sounds low, id touch it up then clear it to level, then keep it nice and waxed.
