I have just finished removing everything off the top of the play field. I have taken many pictures and documented the process, now I have to remove the "stuff" off of the back of the play field. what is the standard or most common method for labeling each light and switch to make sure they end up in the same hole during re-assembly? Photography will not help as there are so many that look alike.

There are some great ideas here. I can not wait to get back at it on Monday! I could not find the information on Ed's site on how he pulled a play field apart.

I like the sharpie idea, I was numbering the few I had to remove to get it on the rotisserie, but outlining sound even better.

I was not going to put a TV in the shop, but the idea of having a large screen to look at during re-assembly sounds really good.

The backside of the T2 looks a lot more intimidating than the picture Bryan_Kelly put up. It will probably look a lot less difficult after I pull the light boards and the coils. I use little jewelry tags to label wires and that will make locating things and locations in the pictures easier. I just got hoem and I ill put up some pictures when I get out to the shop.

Now that I got home and looked at the play field, it will not be that bad. After the coils and light boards are gone, I will tighten up the wire harness...this will not be as bad as I thought! Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions.
