Those are Tinnerman nuts. You can try to ‘unscrew’ them but most likely it may not work.
If you have a ‘pick’ like a Dentist uses you can pry those little tabs away from stem. You can reuse the nut again but sometimes easier to get new ones if you have access to them. Hope that helps.
