I'm removing the head from a FGY to make it easier to get down into my basement. However there are 2 wires (first picture) on the left that go to the florescent lamp and seem to be tied into the "match speaker", and don't have a quick disconnect.

So my plan is to remove the florescent sockets too and all the wire (white black red), but it looks like I need to disconnect the "match speaker" from the wiring too, how do I undo those 2 "white twist connectors"? The are in the top middle of the bottom picture. They look similar to ones used in home wiring, but they don't twist off.

Or is there an easier way?
