Glad to see he's doing so well! Nice save!

Oh yeah, been meaning to ask, but didn't want to be insensitive while MH was under the weather. What games do you have over there? That's almost like a "desert island" scenario.

    #102 3 years ago

The only thing that would make that video more Florida, would be if the buba got the puppy out, and then started fncking the gator.

I always knew something was off with Jimmy Olsen. He seemed a bit cold-blooded. Airball...I’ll show myself out. Glad to see the pup is doing well Vid.

Now that you have a new tool, what can it be used for on pinball machines?

Forming tight bends when making a replacement wire gate is the only thing I can think of

How in the world did you find them?

    #107 3 years ago
    Quoted from mof:

How in the world did you find them?

    Totally at random.

Saw a kid holding the 8ball backglass up to the sky, showing it to people, trying to sell it.

My house-girl asked some questions in the native dialect, kid said he will take us to the the rest of it.

Behind some tangle of plastic netting, there is a 3x3 hole that goes down inside a collapsed building, kid wants me to climb down, I say hell no.

I can't see any other way out, so I give him my crappy phone and he comes out with pics of the pried open games, crushed Q-bert, commercial dough mixer, a giant fan and tons of other garbage he hopes I'm interested in.

I went back to get some wrenches and flatbed, while the kid and his younger brother dug the games out.

Food can be scarce, and the kids also found a ship ton of canned goods that we put on the truck too.

Must have been shocked to see that.

Yay, Vid's back with the randomly and ever-so-slightly horrifying but educational threads! What a redemption for 2020!

Cute puppy and and glad he's pulling through. What a crazy scenario all around. Glad you were able to get him good care.

And apologies, but I can't help but draw a parallel to something we experienced with our cats earlier this year. My youngest daughter had been wondering where the pull chain for her ceiling fan went. My older daughter found it a few days later....

He seems really good, thank you.

Scar healed up nice, with a minimum of puckering.

His fur has grown back about 75%

He even appears to have a tiny amount of belly button left over, so hopefully the other dogs don't tease him too much

he looks delicious..I mean handsome! happy new year Vid.. thanks for keeping me coming back to this place! cheers

    #117 3 years ago

He weighs 77lbs already?! That mofos gunna be a big boy! When I adopted our dog from the humane shelter he weighed 20 or so pounds. He had huge paws and along tail so I knew he was gunna be big. Time+food = an 80lbs lab mix.

MurderHornet seems to grow every time I look at him

Some days his head is too big, or his back legs are longer than the front ones.

Buying food from a wet market or the humane society has its risks

    #119 3 years ago

Fortunately, cats don’t eat pinballs. Couldn’t afford the pet bills.

Do you still have your heart set on adopting the orphaned girl? Or at least setting her up with a family in the states?

Yep, a young couple at my church are taking her.

They are very anxious, before I teach her more bad things. I came home and she was showing off her offensive knife skills on zoom; the new family was mortified

I've got all the **documents** lined up, I guess it turns out I'm her uncle.

Shouldn’t this thread be titled “Vid’s Guide to Removing Pinballs From Puppies”?

What a great story, both for the pup and the orphaned girl. This made my morning. Now I have to un-make to by starting the day.
