Quoted from Garrett:

In the process of fixing an Aztec playfield that I bought in 2013. Got it for cheap as it had been clear coated to prevent further paint loss but it wasn't the greatest playing pin by any means.

Initially thought to sand down the orange peel, touch up and clear again to get better gameplay.
The printed AZTEC inserts to be filled, the rest replaced. Only had green Frog Tape on hand and had used it to tape off close to the AZTEC inserts area when using the super glue. When I pulled the frog tape off something wonderful appeared! Just made life my whole lot easier as I was worried about the old clear coat. It looks like it may have been an oil based poly or varathane as it was very yellow.
So if you have an old pin and want to remove the clear, Frog Tape may work for you too.
