    Those fliipper bats are kind of a pain, but I don't think I've managed to bend anything before.

    Unscrew the flat head screw on the top. Use a flat head screw driver to pop off the plastic. There are several clips that latch onto the metal bat. It's usually easiest to remove the flipper bat from the flipper assembly so you can access the underside of the flipper bat.
