Hi all, I'm removing cab decals ,like I've done before heat gun putty knife still a pain. but this time the left over glue doesn't seem to want to come off it always came off with some lacquer thinner or even goof off but this time it just seems to loosen it but just kind of smears it to a new spot. any other ideas on what to use? maybe paint remover that would be messy . its hard to see in the pic but its still tacky..

I use aerosol paint stripper on top of decals, let it set 5 or 10 minutes, and it comes off cleaner. To get remaining glue, wet glue with xylene, and scrape again, using the backside of metal putty blade. Get xylene at HD paint dept.
